The St. Augustine Bible Study Ministry seeks to help each of us experience God’s truth in the Holy Scripture through fellowship, prayer, reflection, and relate the truth to our lives. Through that experience we seek to open our hearts to God’s love and become closer to our Savior. As Saint Jerome reminds us, “Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ.”

We are single and married, widowed and divorced, women and men, young and not so young. Catholic and non-Catholic, seeking to find meaning for our lives through the Word of God. Although many of us have spent years studying scripture, for others this may be the first time.

Come to one of our Bible Study nights! No need to register or call ahead. The one and only qualification is an interest in the Word of God and a desire to grow in our faith.

Bible Study is held every Wednesday from 7:00-8:30 p.m., both in-person in the Gingras Center 1st Floor Conference Room (1419 V Street NW, Washington, DC 20009) and online via Zoom. 

If we happen to run later than 8:30 p.m., we thank you for your patience and understanding! We usually take a summer break during July and August.
