Online Giving Update

Dear Parishioners,

I hope this letter finds you well and filled with God’s peace. On behalf of our entire parish leadership, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued generosity and support of our parish mission and ministries. The most recent example of this was the recent School Matching Gift campaign to raise $50,000 for emergency tuition assistance to struggling families who’ve experienced a sudden and unexpected loss of income due to job termination and long-term furloughs. Your commitment to supporting and serving our community, maintaining our sacred spaces, and providing outreach to those in need never fails to encourage and inspire me!

Important Change: Online Giving Platform Update

In addition to thanking you for your sacrificial giving, it has come to my attention that several parishioners have raised concerns about the changes to our online giving platform Faith Direct and its merging with the ParishSOFT platform. Please be assured that the change is legitimate and is a part of our ongoing efforts to make your giving experience as secure, convenient, and user-friendly as possible.  Due to a mix-up in timing, this upgrade occurred sooner before we were able to send out this “heads-up” letter to inform you and allay any concerns.   

We have completed our upgrade to ParishSoft as our online giving provider. Your account and payment information will transfer securely, so there is no need to create a new account or re-enter your details. You can still Text-To-Give at 202-930-8147, or you can log in to St. Augustine's ParishSOFT Giving page to manage your giving or make updates.  Of course, you may always go to our Webpage and click on the Give Now picture and follow the link to our Give Now page. Please follow any provided instructions to set up your giving preferences.
