FAQsQ. When and where are classes held?Classes are held in-person on Sunday from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. at Saint Augustine Catholic School (1421 V Street NW, Washington, DC 20009). Students and parents enter and exit the school through the church parking lot door. Students proceed directly to their assigned classrooms.
Q. Is there a virtual option for instruction?No, not at this time.
Q. How much is tuition?- $90.00 - one child
- $130.00 - two or more children
Q. How do I make a tuition payment?
Use our online giving platform to pay tuition (select "One Time Gift" and add "Sunday School/CCD tuition" in the note field)
Q. How long is the program?
The program year begins in September and concludes in June. We do not have class on the Sundays immediately following Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Mother’s Day.
Q. When is First Communion and Confirmation?
Candidates for Sacraments are notified of the exact date and requirements by their teacher. Customarily, First Communion is held the first Sunday in May and Confirmation in late Spring.
Q. What is OCIA?
The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA), adapted for Children is a program for children 7 years old and up who have not been baptized.
