The parable in today’s Gospel makes it clear that God is rich in mercy and radically generous in sharing it. Therefore, if you find yourself unable to forgive, know this: The problem may not be in your inability to give mercy but in your inability or unwillingness to receive it from the God who shares it so generously.

If you set out on a journey pointed in the wrong direction then you will never arrive at the desired destination . . . Blessed are those who trust that God will never lead them astray or point them in the wrong direction.
